Exeter Golf and Country Club’s silver medal finish in their debut event was a strong achievement. Team Captain, Jamie Broom commented,

“A Silver Medal on our very first Champion of Champions outing is a commendable position, it was brutal out there today, very windy with some nasty pin placements, I am very proud of everyone involved, not just the players today, but our squad/club as a whole, the support has been amazing and bodes well for our season ahead. Lets continue this spirit with back to back league titles and try again next year! I’d also like to thank Justin Powlesland for his role as previous EDGL squad skipper and wish him well as Club VC, hopefully myself and Whitts will keep this squad improving and bring more silverware back to Exeter”

Exeter’s performance signals a promising future as they aim for more success in the coming season. Golf
