CONGRATULATIONS to Exeter Golf and Country Club duo Jack Jeffery and John Fairman - double Devon Professional Golfers Alliance champions!!
Jack won the professional Kenyon Trophy and John won the amateur Kenyon Trophy after both had outstanding winter seasons playing across Devon & Cornwall.
Ryan Pope and Shane Cox came runners up in both events to complete a Exeter GCC clean sweep for the top positions.

PROOF - the gym can change your life. At 84, Geoff started Personal Training with Nick and this week, is back walking without a stick, for the first time in almost a year, having achieved overall strength and cardio gains of over 40%!
Meet our Gym Member of the Month!
Geoff’s been a golfer for decades but until autumn 2025, had never stepped foot inside a gym! His goal: walking without a stick so he could get back on the golf course this summer.
His results speak for themselves:
Bike 5-min time trial: 1.52km → 2.12km (+40%)
Leg Press: 54kg → 81kg (+50%)
Leg Extension & Curl: 4kg → 29kg (over +600%!)
Box squats: From 60cm with yoga blocks → 50cm with no blocks, much deeper and stronger
What started as a simple 5-minute warmup turned into mini time trials - followed by weekly strength sessions with box squats, and leg training - finishing each session with hamstring stretches to improve mobility.
From walking with a stick to smashing fitness goals and getting back to golf, Geoff proves it’s never too late to take control of your strength and mobility.
