Do I need to complete a pre-visit health consultation?

Yes. Click to see the Pre Visit Health Consultation Information as this can affect the treatment we are able to carry out.

All guests are required to complete a pre-visit health consultation before arriving at Wear Park Spa. This will be emailed to you 72 hours before your appointment.

The consultation asks about your current health, medical conditions, allergies, medication and other factors that may affect your treatment or use of the spa. Your answers help our team identify any contraindications and ensure your chosen treatment is appropriate for you.

Please complete the consultation as soon as you receive it. If your health or circumstances change before your visit, please let the spa team know.

What happens when I arrive for my treatment?

Your therapist will welcome you and take you through your treatment before you begin. Facials and massages include a heated foot cleanse and an inhalation bowl using aromatic Elemis oils, giving you time to settle in and transition into your treatment.

Will I have a consultation with my therapist?

Yes. Your therapist will discuss your treatment with you before it begins and check for any relevant health considerations, allergies or contraindications. This gives you an opportunity to mention anything that may affect your treatment.

What if I have a medical condition or take medication?

Please include any relevant medical conditions or medication on your pre-visit health consultation. Certain conditions or medications may affect which treatments are suitable for you.

If you are unsure whether a treatment is appropriate, please contact Wear Park Spa before booking or attending your appointment.

What if I have allergies or sensitive skin?

Please tell us about any known allergies or skin sensitivities when completing your health consultation and speak to your therapist before treatment. This allows us to consider your individual needs and determine whether a treatment or particular product is suitable.

Can I have a treatment if I am pregnant?

Some treatments may be suitable during pregnancy, while others may need to be adapted or avoided. Please tell us when booking if you are pregnant so that we can advise you on the treatments that are appropriate. Massage, facials and body treatments cannot be carried on anyone in the first trimester of pregnancy. Also patch tests for lashes and brows must be carried out, even if you have had one previously.
