We think Wear Park Restaurant is Exeter’s best place for afternoon tea – with floor to ceiling windows framing the view of the putting greens from every table, the prettiest pale pink decor, white linen tablecloths and the relaxed elegance of a Georgian manor house.
The three-tier cake stand comes loaded with freshly-baked scones, clotted cream and jam, delicate patisserie and cakes, savoury brioche rolls and finger sandwiches.
