When you join Exeter Golf and Country Club you can enjoy year-round swimming in both an outdoor and indoor heated pool.

The outdoor pool is surrounded by a beautiful Victorian-walled garden, with a large lawn area for sun-loungers in the warmer summer months – and a separate family area with a toddler splash pool. There is really nothing like a moonlit swim in the outdoor pool on a summer evening or a refreshing dip first thing on a winter’s morning; not for the faint-hearted but rejuvenating none-the-less!

The indoor heated pool also has a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna available for all members – you don’t have to pay more to enjoy relaxation here.

Whether you swim for fitness, relaxation or fun, swimming is one of the best ways to keep active. As a low impact sport swimming is suitable for everyone.

With a sauna in both the men’s and ladies’ changing rooms and a steam room, you can enjoy a relaxing heat treatment after a strenuous workout or a dip in the pool.

Exeter Golf and Country Club is the only place you can enjoy swimming in a heated outdoor pool, all year* round – even during the winter…weather permitting! Conveniently located between Exeter and Topsham, our outdoor pool is perfect for an early morning swim or a late night dip.

We cater to a range of activities including Adult Swim Sessions, Children’s Swimming Lessons with experienced swimming instructors, Family Swimming and also LifeGuard Training too.

Pool opening times: 6.30am – 9.30pm weekdays and 7.00am – 8.00pm at the weekend*

*The swimming pools may close for maintenance when required or, in relation to the outdoor pool – when the ground is frozen. Therefore we cannot guarantee it is open every day of the year. Swimming and sports facilities are only open for members.
