Try Racketball for Free

With the winter fast approaching there’s no better time to pick up a new indoor sport.

Racketball is played on a squash court with a larger ball and shorter racket. It is easier to pick up than tennis or squash and is a great workout with rallies lasting longer than any other racket sport.

If you want to try a new sport, burn lots of calories and meet new people (and for tennis players have a contingency for the wet winter days!) then racketball could be for you.

Our Head Squash and Racketball Professional, Mike Harris, will be running a free introductory session on Thursday 26th October between 6.00pm and 7.00pm. Please sign-up at reception or by getting in touch with Mike. The session is open to all club members.

All you will need is sports clothing and non-marking (not black-soled) shoes. Rackets and balls will be provided.

If you would like to continue playing there are members of all ages and abilities taking part in our monthly Racketball ladders, providing an easy way to meet new opponents.
