Shoulder Health Workshop
Wednesday 9th July, 6pm – 7pm – Mews Room
60 minutes | Free for Members of Exeter Golf and Country Club
Limited availability
Join Laura Whiteoak from Optimal Movement Physio for an engaging, hands-on workshop designed to help you understand the crucial role shoulder health plays in long-term movement, fitness, and performance. Whether you’re a recreational mover or a competitive athlete, you’ll leave with practical tools you can apply to any sport or training routine.
What You’ll Learn:
Why shoulder resilience is key to avoiding injuries and improving longevity in your sport.
Common issues from racket sports, golf, and tennis – like rotator cuff injuries and elbow pain – and how they often stem from shoulder dysfunction.
How tennis or golfer’s elbow might not actually start at the elbow (surprising, right? We’ll explain why!).
What To Expect:
Easy-to-follow mobility drills and foundational shoulder exercises to build into your own routine.
A relaxed, informal vibe – no death-by-powerpoint, no jargon, just practical info you can use immediately.
A short Q&A if time allows, or feel free to chat after the session.
