Exeter Secure Impressive Victory Over Sidmouth
Exeter Golf & Country Club played their penultimate league match of the season against Sidmouth at Crediton Downes Golf Club on Sunday 13th September — and came away with an impressive 4–1 victory.
The result puts Exeter in a strong position heading into the final round, with the team now sitting at the top of the league.
Captain Broom commented after the match:
“Today it was vital for us to get a good result, and it now puts us in a great position going into the final round as league leaders. Thanks to all the boys who played today and the whole squad for their support. This has been a great season for us so far — we’re definitely not counting any chickens yet though!”
With just one league match remaining, Exeter will be hoping to finish the season strongly and secure a well-deserved league title.
