Ladies Pro Am 2026

Exeter Golf and Country Club’s Ladies Pro-Am enjoyed another hugely successful year, attracting its largest-ever field of professional and amateur golfers and raising an estimated £3,000 for charity.

Held on one of the hottest days of the year, the event brought together 34 teams from across the region for a memorable day of golf. While the sweltering conditions made for an exhausting challenge, the atmosphere throughout the day was fantastic as players competed in Devon’s only Ladies Pro-Am event.

This year’s competition marked a significant milestone as the event, hosted by Exeter Golf and Country Club for the 18th time, has grown into a major regional fixture, attracting teams from much further afield than ever before.

Exeter players dominated the leaderboard, securing first, second and third places.

Taking the title on countback with 89 points were professional Neil Harper (East Devon Golf Club) and Exeter Golf and Country Club members Lizzie White, Vicki Rogers and Viv Worthington. They edged out fellow professional Paul Hendriksen (Ivybridge Golf Club) and Exeter players Maggie Wayte, Lorna Brown and Rebecca O’Callaghan, who also finished on 89 points.

Third place went to Exeter professional Jack Jeffery and his team of Liz Mapson, Jenny Outhwaite and Alison James, who scored an impressive 88 points.

Adding to the excitement, visiting professional Paul Hendriksen set a new 2026 course record, just a couple of weeks after another visiting professional had broken the previous mark during the Club Pro-Am. The achievement underlines the exceptional standard of golf being played at Exeter this season.

Final fundraising figures will be confirmed shortly, but organisers expect the event to have raised around £3,000, making it another outstanding success both on and off the course.
