Girls Golf Rocks

Girls Golf Rocks is an England Golf programme to encourage beginner girls aged 5-18 to learn and play golf in a fun and friendly way.

Exeter Golf and Country Club is one of nearly 200 clubs to take part in this national drive to get more girls on the golf course.

The girls’ coaching sessions are for all girls aged between 5 and 18 years old who are new to the sport. The sessions are designed to help the girls feel comfortable and develop their confidence to join in. Following on from the six week programme is a clear pathway for girls to continue their journey as golfers.

The coaching programme will involve six, hour-long sessions spread over six weeks with the last lesson out on the golf course.

The sessions are designed to be :

Fun
Involve team/group pursuits
Include a variety of golf-related activities
Allow for social time either at the beginning or end (or both)

During the six one-hour coaching sessions, participants will receive a Girls Golf Rocks goody bag – including a polo shirt and water bottle – and all for just £35.

DATES:

Saturday 19th June, 11am, for six weeks
