Dartmoor League (DML) – Exeter v Tavistock
On Sunday 27th July the Exeter team faced a Tavistock side keen to get out of the bottom two. But unfortunately for Tavistock they met Exeter on top form and were on the receiving end of a fantastic all round team performance.
Exeter registered the teams first DML whitewash win posting a fantastic 5-0 victory.

Team Captain, Simon ‘Fester’ Courtney commented ‘what a performance from our team we are growing in strength every game’.
Exeter remain in touching distance of the DML title with the remaining fixture to play against bottom of the league Elfordleigh.
East Devon Golf League – Exeter v Axe Cliff
Jamie Broom and Neil Whittaker took their Exeter team to play at Bovey Tracey against Axe Cliff last Sunday on a very hot and humid day. The course, like many at this time of year, was hard and unforgiving but Team Exeter battled to victory with an impressive 3-2 scoreline.
A highlight of the day was the blooding of three new players for the EDGL squad, Tony Cockayne, James Skinner and Harry Washbourn.
Jamie commented, “Its always great to get new players involved, I’m sure they all enjoyed the day and will now go on to attract other players to represent”.
