Salary / Benefits

Salary: £24,950 – plus commission of £7 per hour PT session
Yearly performance bonus dependent on company-wide performance
28 days holiday, plus after 3 years, one extra day per year up a max of 33 days
Use of the gym and studio classes, indoor and outdoor heated pools with sauna, jacuzzi and steam room, tennis and squash courts after 3 months employment.

Job Specification

If you’re an experienced Personal Trainer with an upbeat attitude, we’d love for you to join our dynamic gym team!

In your role as a Personal Trainer, you will pay a key part in delivering an amazing member experience by teaching a variety of classes, taking personal training sessions, gym inductions and creating workout plans.

We’re looking for someone with a positive approach to helping existing and new members, colleagues and management, an outstanding set of customer service skills, a pro-active approach in growing your PT client base and an understanding and willingness to create content for social media.

– Lead fitness classes and provide instruction to participants
– Develop and implement exercise programs based on individual needs and goals
– Demonstrate proper form and technique for exercises
– Monitor participants’ progress and provide feedback and encouragement
– Modify exercises as needed to accommodate different fitness levels and abilities
– Ensure the safety of participants during classes
– Maintain a clean and organized workout area

– Strong knowledge of human anatomy and exercise physiology
– Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate participants
– Ability to demonstrate exercises with proper form and technique
– Knowledge of different fitness modalities and ability to create diverse workout routines
– Ability to modify exercises for individuals with injuries or limitations
– CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
– Ability to work well in a team environment


40 hours to include some early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

Level 3 NVQ Personal Trainer
Experience of working in a gym environment
Outstanding customer service skills
Delivering a variety of classes and PT sessions to a high standard
Pro-active in growing PT client base
Knowledgeable and willing to create content for social media
