Six months into the launch of our new Gym, with a community of over 1K Fitness Members and growing by the day, we are looking for an exceptional Personal Trainer to join the team.

As Exeter’s newest, super-stylish, boutique-style Gym, we have become THE place to be for fitness and wellness in the city.

Our small team of Personal Trainers have been hand-picked for their individual skills to provide our members which a full complement of training styles so all goals are met – whether that’s to train for Hyrox events, weight-lifting, functional fitness, running marathons or just general fitness, strength and conditioning.

Strength and Weight Focused Personal Trainer 

We’re looking for an experienced Personal Trainer with a passion for strength and performance, with top-tier technique-focused coaching skills, to help members achieve lasting results with Exeter’s widest range of free weights, plate-loaded and pin-loaded Matrix Fitness equipment.

Personality and Passion

To be the Personal Trainer we need, you must demonstrate a strong foundation in strength training, valuing quality coaching through technique progression and constructive programming, with a dynamic, motivational personality to match.

You might come from a background in CrossFit, Olympic lifting, Strength and Conditioning, or Functional Fitness. What matters is your ability to coach safely, effectively, and confidently.

The Job

Deliver effective 1:1 personal training, focusing on strength, performance and movement quality.
Lead structured strength, conditioning and cardio group exercise classes and support gym-floor engagement.
Create personalised programmes and progressions for a range of clients, depending on their level and goal.
Build strong working relationships based on trust, consistency, and expertise.
Contribute to a professional, supportive gym culture – no hard sales or quick fixes.
Work with the Marketing Manager to create quality social media content to promote your own Personal Training as well as classes and the Gym.

What You Bring

CIMPSA / Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification as a minimum
Experience coaching barbell lifts, free weights and functional strength movements
A solid grasp of progression, form, and training principles
Confidence working with a wide range of clients, from novice to experienced
A calm, competent, and professional coaching style
Integrity, reliability, and a team-first approach

OTE £30.5K (£26,615 salary, plus Personal Training commission) 
28 days holiday plus after 3 years – 1 extra day each year up to a max of 33 days
PT commission in addition to competitive salary
