Head Housekeeper

As a members’ club, we have been creating memories for our guests for a long time and know that it is people who make an experience exceptional.

The role of Head Housekeeper is to lead, manage and motivate the team to ensure that the club cleanliness is always kept to the highest standard, and all done in a cost-effective manner, liaising closely with Estate Manager and General Manager.

28 days holiday plus after 3 years – 1 extra day each year up a max of 33 days

Experience and Qualifications

The job requires leadership, supervision, coaching and support for a team of full and part time staff.

Main responsibilities

Club cleaning, staff rotas, labour budgets

Control / ordering of supplies, chemicals, laundry, washroom services.

General upkeep of the club defect reporting.

Any other reasonable duties as directed by the Estate Manager

To recruit, induct, train, appraise staff, hold monthly department meetings and to include staff and members view in the decision-making process.

Ensure compliance with H & S and COSHH regulations.

The cleanliness of our club plays a huge part in ensuring our members enjoy their leisure experience every time they visit. These areas are just as important as our sporting facilities and our cleaners as important as our chefs, coaches and bar staff. Hours / How to apply

This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per weekly, 5 out of 7 days. You will work be required to work some evenings and some weekends as we are open 363 days per year.
