Kettlebell Technique Class

New Kettlebell Technique Class

Launching This January at Exeter Golf and Country Club

Sundays 10.30am – 11.00am

If you’ve ever wanted to unlock the real power of kettlebell training, our brand-new Kettlebell Technique Class – led by Personal Trainer Rich Fleming – is the perfect place to start. Beginning this January, you’ll discover how to train safely, move efficiently, and build serious functional strength using one of the most versatile tools in fitness.

Why Technique Matters with Kettlebells

Kettlebells are incredible for building strength, power, and conditioning, but only when used with proper form. Their dynamic, fast-moving nature means technique is everything. In Rich’s expert-led sessions, you’ll learn how to hinge, swing, clean, press, snatch, and squat with precision – skills that will elevate every aspect of your training.

Mastering good technique helps you:

Generate more power with less effort

Protect your lower back, shoulders, and wrists

Move better during daily tasks and sports

Train harder and progress safely without risking injury

Great form isn’t just about staying safe – it’s the key to unlocking everything kettlebells can offer.

How Your Body Will Benefit

With guided practice and consistent coaching, kettlebell training can transform your fitness from the ground up. Expect to:

Build full-body strength, especially through the glutes, hamstrings, and lower back

Improve cardiovascular fitness with high-intensity, low-impact movement

Develop explosive hip power for running, jumping, and lifting

Strengthen your grip, core stability, and balance

Increase mobility through smooth, dynamic exercises

Kettlebells train your body as a connected system – leading to more coordinated, efficient movement both in and out of the gym.

Why Choose Kettlebells Over Dumbbells?

Dumbbells are great tools, but kettlebells offer unique advantages thanks to their off-centre weight and handle design. This makes them ideal for:

Swings: The kettlebell’s shape creates a natural, fluid pendulum motion

Cleans & Snatches: The bell rolls smoothly around the wrist for better control

Turkish Get-Ups: The uneven weight boosts stabilisation and deep core strength

Explosive Power Training: Momentum and hip drive work in harmony, offering training benefits dumbbells can’t match

If you want to build strength, endurance, mobility, and power all at once, kettlebells are unmatched.

Join Us This January

Whether you’re new to kettlebells or looking to refine your technique, this class will give you the skills and confidence to train effectively. Under the guidance of Rich  you’ll learn the foundations, elevate your performance, and get more from every workout.

NEW CLASS STARTS JANUARY

Sundays 10.30am - 11am with Rich (before the main Kettlebell class at 11.15am)

Benefits of Kettlebell Workouts

Kettlebells are considered one of the most powerful training tools because they deliver strength, cardio, mobility, and power training all at once. Here’s why they stand out:

1. Off-Centre Weight = More Muscle Activation

The kettlebell’s design forces your body to stabilise every movement, engaging more muscles—especially in the core, hips, and shoulders.

2. Dynamic Movements Build Power

Exercises like swings, snatches, and cleans train explosive hip drive, improving speed, power, and athletic performance.

3. Strength + Cardio Combined

Kettlebell training elevates your heart rate while building strength, giving you an incredible full-body workout in less time.

4. Functional, Real-World Strength

Movements mimic natural patterns—hinging, squatting, pulling, pressing—helping you move better in daily life and sports.

5. Improves Mobility and Stability

The flowing, multi-directional movements improve joint mobility, coordination, and balance far more than isolated machine exercises.

6. Efficient and Versatile

One kettlebell = endless exercises. You can build strength, muscle endurance, power, conditioning, and mobility with a single tool.

7. Great for All Fitness Levels

You can start light, learn the technique, and progress safely while continually challenging your body.
