Our state-of-the-art 8-bay golf driving range is equipped with TopTracer technology in every bay, providing real-time feedback on every shot, helping golfers enhance their performance. With spacious bays featuring heaters, golfers can enjoy a comfortable practice experience year-round.

Whether you’re focused on general range practice or simulating a round on a world-renowned course, Exeter Golf Academy provides a variety of options to maximize your practice sessions.

Our team of highly skilled PGA-certified teaching professionals is available for one-on-one lessons, designed to improve every aspect of your game. The cutting-edge teaching studio is equipped with Trackman 4 and TopTracer technology, giving golfers precise, high-tech feedback on their swing and technique. This technology enables our coaches to pinpoint areas for improvement, helping lower scores and increase overall enjoyment of the game.

Additionally, our studio features custom fitting kits from four of the biggest names in golf: Titleist, TaylorMade, Ping, and Callaway. Golfers can receive a personalized club fitting, ensuring the perfect match for their game, including proper club length, shaft flex, and grip size.

By the summer, we will introduce a new chipping green and practice bunker, allowing golfers to refine their short game and receive professional fitting for wedges and putters.

Range Use Policy: General use of the range is limited to members of Exeter GCC, their guests, lesson customers, and golfers playing a round at Exeter GCC.

Coaching at the academy

Topsham Golf Academy is a state of the art, complete all year around facility providing the very best coaching and practice opportunities in the South West.

The undercover practice range allows all weather coaching, along with evening and winter coaching due to the ground level lighting. The range targets develop accuracy along with the opportunity to practice varying distance shots.

Coaching for short game skills using the chipping and putting greens provides the most realistic practice possible, away from the golf course.

The professional team offer the most comprehensive coaching programmes in the area using a combination of the coaching bay and indoor studio at the main site near the Pro Shop and golf course.

Coaching is available to golfers of all ages and abilities and on both a group and individual basis.

The golf coaching and fitting bay will be fitted with a top of the range launch monitor allowing the coach to provide the golfer with the data needed to be able to clearly and simply understand where improvements need to be made.
