Ready to step into the cold and feel truly alive – or you’re already an ice bath or cold water swimming convert but want to know more about breathing techniques and the benefits?
This free workshop, led by Fitness Member and certified Cold Water Therapy Instructor Fi Cummings, offers an energising introduction to the practice of cold immersion.
Whether you’re an athlete, a wellness enthusiast, or simply curious, this session will help you understand how controlled cold exposure can support both physical recovery and mental resilience, along with the positive impact it can have on the menopause*, your skin, sleep and may other factors.Â
During the workshop, you’ll explore the science behind cold water therapy, learning how it can lift your mood, reduce inflammation, improve recovery, and strengthen your immune system. Fi will guide you through breathwork and mindset techniques to help you prepare for the cold, followed by a safe and optional ice bath experience.
You’ll also have the chance to ask questions and hear insights from Fi’s personal journey and professional training.
