Jacob Swain PT

Jacob joined Exeter Golf & Country Cub from CrossFit Pi, where he worked as a PersonalTrainer and CrossFit coach since 2017.

He says, “People often describe me as a relaxed and patient coach, which I think is a great reflection of who I am. I have a strong background in strength and conditioning, which I’ve developed through eight years of CrossFit training. I used to play football and basketball when I was younger, but more recently, I’ve discovered a passion for golf—although it’s quickly becoming an expensive hobby!”

I enjoy teaching all forms of exercise from group classes, being ex-military and individual 1-2-1s working and educating techniques, equipment and obtaining the best result for you.

I competed for over 30 Years as a endurance athlete in Marathon and half marathons and have a passion for running, taking beginners to advance runners, working on pace, stride gate, stamina, endurance and strength training

I combined this training with my boxing routines as an amateur Boxer and now teach boxing for fitness at the club for Ricky Hatton Boxing .

I am a certified Elite instructor teaching full boxing skills, pad work, strength and conditioning for fitness

Nick Rose

I have 13 years of experience as a personal trainer, having started as an apprentice, to now managing the gym.

Working with my clients, together we’ve hit multiple goals such as: losing weight, increasing strength to improving fitness and hitting PBs in cardiovascular events.

Improving our physical appearance and ability is great, but what makes my job even more satisfying is when my clients mindset changes, where the confidence grows and after hitting our goals, we create more.

I have the GP Referral qualification, which makes me very comfortable with dealing with various health issues. I also have a history of conversing with osteopaths, physios and chiropractors to ensure the best care for my clients.
