Also known as Water Aerobics, Aqua Aerobics at Exeter Golf and Country Club is similar to traditional Aerobics but with the added benefits of exercising in water. Exercising in the water offers gentle resistance making the classes extra effective in toning the muscles while supporting the joints. Water is 800 times denser than air so provides 12 times the resistance. Aqua Aerobics targets the core, arms, legs and shoulders, along with improving cardiovascular endurance too.
