What do you love about the club and working in leisure?
With over 20 years experience of working in leisure and hospitality, I can’t imagine working in a different sector – the forever-changing horizon of activity and personalities make every day unique and most days, really good fun! People love their leisure time so to help make it as good as possible, is a real ‘positive’ to wake up to everyday. They say, “choose a job you love and you’ll never do a day’s work in your life’…on a good day, that’s exactly how I feel at Exeter Golf and Country Club.

Family, friends, life outdoors and keeping active create the perfect balance to my busy job.
Favourite leisure activities?
Running and fitness, photography, camping and reading in the sun are some of my favourite things to do. I love to travel far and wide, but also love to explore the South West in our camper van, finding remote spots off the beaten track for long days at the beach and wine by the campfire at night.
