Following on from the NHS initiative ‘Couch to 5K’, we have a new Running Club for beginners.
Meeting every Monday at 9.30am, the Running Club is a simple way to start running as part of a group. Led by our Gym Manager and marathon runner, Lee Cooke the new Running Club will help new runners progress towards achieving the target of a 5K run. Running clubs are a great way to get into the sport in a safe and motivational way.
All club members are invited to join Lee and to make it as easy as possible, there’s no cost and no registration required. All you need to do is make sure you have a good healthy breakfast, grab your trainers and turn up.
Lee offers more times during the week when more advanced runners can tackle longer or more difficult runs with him.
