Captains’ Drive-in
What a wonderful day! Mike Priest and Sheila Scott held their drive-in last Sunday with 180 members and guests watching on. If there were any nerves, it didn’t show as they both hit two superb tee shots. This was followed by a lovely luncheon in the Duckworth suite. A great day was had by all and I would like to personally wish Mike and Sheila every success in their year of Captaincy.

4BBB Stableford
Last Saturday 74 pairs took part in a 4BBB Stableford that was won by Dave Baitup and Jimmy Heal with a cool 45 points. They pipped Mark Crouch and Martin Buzza (both suffering from medical conditions!!) by a single point. In third place was Chris and Andy Rockey who scored 43 points.

One of the other highlights of Saturday’s competition was Jim ‘Charming’ Norton who had a two on hole 14, but forgot to enter the two’s! Well done to all the prize winners!
