Taste six gins with different Fever Tree Tonics and garnishes – £10 per person and you will receive a gin and tonic voucher to spend in the club!
Food and drink critic Suzy Atkins describes the recent surging gin trend as a ‘ginaissance’ and we have to agree.
A million miles away from the 18th century ‘gin craze’ of London’s destitute, the emergence of extensive gin menus, artisan distilleries and specialist gin bars over the past couple of years has led to record sales exceeding £1 billion for the first time ever.
Join us on Wednesday 9th November to find out what all the fuss is about. Come along and sample the gins on our menu with April Marks, owner of Regency Wine…and gin connoisseur!
April will talk you through the journey of gin’s progression from ‘mother’s ruin’ to the botanical revolution of the current gin revival. Discover the unique flavours, botanical blends and distillation techniques of the blossoming artisan producers, and the best ways to drink them.
Our new gin menu features some of the best artisan and premium gins, along with a selection of Fever Tree tonics. Salcombe Gin, Sipsmith Gin, Bathtub Gin, 6 O’Clock Gin, Plymouth Gin and Brecon Special Reserve Gin will be available on the tasting evening with recommended Fever Tree tonics and garnishes.
