1 DCGU Palairet Memorial Trophy

Congratulations to Captain Ray and his Palairet side who have got through to the 4th round by beating Dainton park at Torquay golf club last Sunday. In what proved to be a thrilling contest, Exeter scraped through 3 – 2 with the deciding game finishing on the last. Exeter GCC will now face Holsworthy at Tavistock on Sunday 27th July. Supporters are most welcome

3 Bradley Rowe

The Bradley Rowe Order of Merit competition was completed on Saturday with 150 players competing in the 5th event from 8 of the Order of Merit. Early starter, george Robinson went round in a fine gross 67, nett 64 to win the overall event. On a day of low scoring, the CSS remained at 70. Divisional winners as follows:

4 Ladies Invitation to Men

The annual invitation from the Ladies to the Men took place this past Sunday. Over 70 players enjoyed a course in great condition and decent weather. The Captain partnership of Ray Banfield and Christine Clark won with 46 points which was enough for a 3 shot win over Gill Newbery and Martin McBain, and Christine Cantlon and Simon Quantick
